Credit fears sink market

Nov. 7 – US stocks plunged on renewed fears about the credit markets and the housing downturn. New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s office is sending subpoenas to government sponsored mortgage financiers Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Its part of a probe into the home loan industry.
